My beautiful time with them, part 2

As you wanted, I translated resume ( Epilog 1.0) one of my trip abroad. It will be a story about beautiful part of world Patagonia. So, the purpose of this short story is only the summary of my trip to that place. You can find the pictures below Polish description of Patagonia.

It was eleven months ago in November/December '14 . We prepared the plan by ourselves and it gave us a wonderful opportunity to observe the nature of the area as long as we wished. In Argentina we explored 4 Provinces Buenos Aires, Chubut, Santa Cruz and Tierra de Fuego. In Chile we went to Magellans province.

An interesting fact is, that the waves in the Magellans strait are sometimes many meters high. Fortunately, during our trip the strait was very calm. Therefore it was possible to reach the southernmost point in the world very fast and the city Ushuaia, the capital city of the end of the world, was in front of us..

The last place on our way was Uruguay with the capital Montevideo and the small, beautiful city of Colonia del Sacramento. Maybe, you are now asking yourselves.... Was it worth visiting ? I hope you will be convinced by the end of my story.

The observation of nature, abundance of colours, caprices and the power of nature, all combined together to awake my senses.

What more? It was also very interesting to discover the difficult and dramatic history of all the provinces, and especially the huge heroism and determination of the citizens of Land of Fire.

What else? I was amazed by the big pride of the Magellans community, the charm of the small city of Colonia del Sacramento and also of the village El Chalten in Argentina. I felt like I was in the city from the movie " Stop Alaska"

What I had enough of during this trip ?

1. White bread and rolls in all the shops, restaurants and houses.

2. Sweet breakfast every day, as well as jam everywhere, sweet cake "dulce de leche" and cookies.

I'd like to say .... that it was the first trip, that I came back from fatter even though I was constantly wiping sweat from my face. During this trip I decided to describe, what was beautiful, what tasted excellent, and what was incredible.

I created my ranking of happiness in order to say WOW!!!

And now to the KITCHEN. We spent a lot of energy looking for special tastes and exploring the atmosphere of the local cuisines. Sometimes our thoughts only made circled around tastes and smells.

My culinary attractions:

Number 1, Restaurant Joint Paradise in Puerto Piramides for it’s heavenly seefood

Number 2, Restaurant Don Ernesto in Buenos Aires for it's juicy, rich, soft, aromatic steak and flan (it’s national, sweet dessert).

Number 3, Bistro in El Chalten ( in Chile) for it’s simple tastes and fantastic, family atmosphere.

Number 4, The huge hall in Montevideo. It was a big barbecue in a wonderfully adapted historical building.

My tourist attractions:

Number 1, Street tango in Buenos for energy, spontaneity, passion and happiness on the faces of the dancers, for their philosophy of life " here and now" This has always fascinated me.

Number 2, Pick Fitz Roy and Glacier Perito Moreno for it’s unusual forms and colours.

Number 3, Colonia del Sacramento for it’s historical architecture, attention to details, and also for it”s special charm, silence and atmosphere .

Number 4, The river Rio la Plata for it’s oceanic width. It’s almost 200 km from one bank to the other.

Number 5, Lake Lage Argentino for the magical green color of the water.

I hope you are convinced to visit this part of the world. In my opinion it’s worth travelling there.

By the way, I recommend my style of travelling with a backpack. You can be close to the people, their culture, habits, music and cusines... in other words ..You get a big opportunity to experience their authentic way of living.

I wish you a lot of satisfaction from your travels and that you all fulfil your dreams and to be bright and breezy every day. Our adventures are - in the best sense - off the beaten track.

See you here and there.

Detoks w POKRZYWNEJ.

To moja szósta wyprawa w głąb siebie. Totalny, bo to będzie naście dni bez jedzenia i z dużą dawką fizycznej aktywności w bliskości z naturą i wśród ludzi o podobnych tęsknotach.
